In the distant future we follow a company owned combat and protection cyborg known as a secunit. We follow his adventures protecting researchers and human expeditions through space. Breaking free from his mental enslavement, he continues his job to avoid suspicion until a crew from Preservation befriends him and breaks his contract.

    The project takes place in book 8 on a ship named A.R.T. The Preservation crew and our main character travel to do research and run into trouble along the way. The Sets are interior corridors and rooms in the spaceship, showing the contrast between human and 
secunit living conditions.
